General Terms & Conditions of Sale

Last updated: August 2026

1. Preamble

These General Terms & Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the sale of artworks offered on the website thewildflowers.com (hereinafter “the Site”), published by The wild flowers, the studio of botanical painter Soria Givord, based in Paris, France.

Any purchase made following an enquiry on the Site implies unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs.

2. Works offered

The Site presents:

  • Original watercolours: unique botanical paintings, hand-painted and signed by the artist
  • Fine art prints: numbered and signed giclée editions on cotton paper

Descriptions and photographs of the works are as accurate as possible. As each original is unique, slight differences may exist between the photograph and the actual piece.

3. Prices

  • All prices are shown in euros (€) inclusive of tax
  • Shipping and framing costs, where applicable, are communicated personally before any purchase is confirmed
  • The studio reserves the right to modify prices at any time, without affecting enquiries already in progress

4. Purchase process

Works are sold on a direct-enquiry basis, without online payment. The process is as follows:

  1. You write to the studio by email, indicating the work you are interested in
  2. Soria replies personally regarding availability, framing options and delivery
  3. Payment terms are agreed directly between you and the studio
  4. The work is dispatched once payment has been received

No cart, account or online payment is required to enquire about a work.

5. Delivery

Originals and prints are carefully packed and dispatched within 3 to 7 working days after payment confirmation, via insured and tracked shipping. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country.

For international shipments, any customs duties remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable legislation, you have 14 days from receipt of the work to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason. The work must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser, except in the case of a defective or non-conforming work.

7. Refunds

In the event of a valid withdrawal, a refund is issued within 14 days using the payment method used for the purchase.

8. Liability

The wild flowers shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from misuse of a purchased work, from improper framing or from force majeure.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (texts, paintings, photographs, logos) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation.

10. Personal Data

Personal data exchanged by email is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11. Disputes

These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer may have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator.
